Overlooking the Susquehanna River in Towanda, Pennsylvania, The Weigh Station Cafe occupies a large brick building built in 1884.

The structure, which was used as a freight depot, was utilized by several rail lines including Barclay, Lehigh Valley, State Line Sullivan and Susquehanna New York. The last load of freight left the Washington Street Station on March 31, 1976.

Today, The Weigh Station Cafe embraces the historic atmosphere of the depot. A beautiful deck, with Pennsylvania Bluestone tables from Meshoppen Stone, allows the patrons a gorgeous view of the Susquehanna River.

Inside a rustic decor compliments the great food, live entertainment and friendly staff.
